Who We Are

OUR MISSION

Aberdeen Snowsports Club will identify, nurture and develop Snowsports talent at all levels and across all disciplines.  We will build a fully inclusive sustainable, viable, responsive and accountable club for our members and local communities.

We aim to provide young athletes with all the necessary skills required to help them prepare, train and compete in alpine racing and snowboard & freestyle disciplines. Our training is built on an open friendly & supportive manner, which is a safe, enjoyable learning environment  to succeed!

committee

Aberdeen Snowsports Club was formed in 1956, as Aberdeen Ski Club. Since the very beginning the club has been organising races, competitions and snowsport events and providing training programs in Alpine Racing, All-mountain, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding.

Now in its 65th year the Club is going from strength to strength, based at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre we offer further training after completion of ski school classes, working closely with the Centre itself creating a continuous learning development pathway for young trainees and older Snowsports enthusiasts.

The Committee has been formed with these values in mind, and as a group we bring to the table different skills sets. We strive to offer complimentary sports and fitness, we are adaptable to everyone’s needs and will change or add programs on demand for all club members old and young. We are sympathetic to our environments and look at ways to improved, modernise and enhance the experience we offer to club members.
