Grant Melville

I started skiing at the age of 2 but only started ski racing when I was 12. I first skied just for fun with my family on holidays abroad in Austria and France. I then got offered by the my school to join their ski race lessons and race team in P7.  I later started going to ski race training at Garthdee on Thursday evenings with ASC and coach Gilbert really got me hooked on racing. I enjoy ski racing because of the adrenaline rush it gives me at the top of the course in the start gate and the feeling of relief and thrill at the bottom of the course when the race has finished. I take every opportunity to go to the hill when we have snow here is Scotland!
